You have done really well ,,, I see so many people that play unfriendly ,,, and it seems to profit them here at first ,,,, but luck runs out even playing a lot of cards ...
I like how you are wise and build a while ...You are not too rich to build ,,, but I think it is lots more fun to think about the people you play against ... My first day i was what they call a "slammer" in the old days when u could buy at any time during the game that was someone who just waited till late in the game then if nobody had won by a certain count ,,, play enough cards to buy the pot ..
They still use the term though , and they mean anyone who just buys a lot more cards than anyone else ...I think the most successfull players buy about 3 or 4 ,,, and most people consider 1-6 acceptable ,,, but 6 would get u called a slammer if everyone else was just buying 1 or 2 ,,, but the CM's will tell everybody ,,, 1 - 30 is acceptable in any game ...
I didn't see the people behind the points in the pot my first day or so,, it just seemed like a program ,,, but when I ran out of points and had to build up ,,,and could only risk one card ,,, I started seeing that the other people who didn't care if they put me out of play they just wanted points , seemed unfriendly...and when someone first helped me I thought it was the nicest thing ...
Then when I had enough points to help ,, I became addicted to that ,,, I loved to catch someone almost out of points and help them ,, they didn't even know they were being stalked ...LOL ... theres not really many who even bother to check the points of someone they play against ...and sometimes theres just too many
I have been around a while ,, and kinda know who's low already ,,,if I am building and someone comes in who is dangerously low , I turn off auto , they can have it ...I have ran out of points before and still wanted to play , know the feeling ....but you are new ,, and you really don't need to know all of this yet , and people know u are new too ,,, and if they are really low they can wait too,,, I have to a lot lol
I think the balance is that the people are more important than the points and its what makes this site still better than the others ,, u can check ,, and know the peoples points ,,, and you don't really know them untill you see how they treat others when they are rich and powerful ,,, or how they act when they are almost out too ...I have become a real fan of some people ,, and really despised others ,,, all over a game and stupid points ....I think I try to give u a heads up on the real fun of this site ,, before you have to run out of points and realize ,, wow , I still want to play ,, and have to fight your way up ... u are really pretty low now ,,, and you are fighting your way up ... it is right for you to build ,, but also share ,,,
